The series stars Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell as John Sugar, a private investigator tasked with finding the missing granddaughter of a legendary Hollywood producer, Jonathan Siegel.
As Sugar delves deeper into the investigation, the case takes a turn for the unexpected. What initially appears to be a simple missing person case becomes entangled with dark secrets and a conspiracy that reaches far beyond Hollywood.
Sugar is forced to confront not only the dangers lurking beneath the surface of the case, but also his own personal demons.
The series was created by Mark Protosevich and directed by Fernando Meirelles. Alongside Farrell, the cast includes Amy Ryan, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Dennis Boutsikaris, and Nate Corddry.
