About Below • Netflix Miniseries Overview
Below is a six-part Canadian supernatural thriller miniseries set in an isolated Newfoundland coastal town. The narrative centers on a weathered fisherman fighting to defend his family and maritime heritage when a prehistoric deep-sea creature terrorizes the shore and a massive iceberg drifts into the harbor.
The musical palette of the series contrasts the harsh, chilly Atlantic seascape with rich folk-rock roots, prominently introduced in the trailer by Canadian icon Gordon Lightfoot's chart-topping 1974 single "Sundown."
Roger Smith has covered film scores, television soundtracks, and music supervisors for over a decade. His comprehensive guides cross-reference cue sheets, production notes, and artist catalogs to deliver the most accurate scene-by-scene musical chronicles for major streaming releases.
