Butterfly is a American spy thriller series that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 13, 2025. The show comprises six episodes and is based on the Boom! Studios graphic novel series created by Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett. The serie follows David Jung, portrayed by Daniel Dae Kim, a former U.S. intelligence operative living in South Korea whose life is turned upside down when the consequences of a past decision come back to haunt him. He soon finds himself pursued by Rebecca, a deadly young assassin, and the sinister spy organization she works for.
