It follows the harrowing journey of Jerry Kane and his teenage son Joe, who are deeply entrenched in the Sovereign Citizen ideology, a radical, anti-government belief system. As they travel across the United States, delivering self-styled legal seminars and challenging governmental authority, their path collides with Police Chief John Bouchart. This confrontation escalates into a tense standoff, sparking a manhunt with tragic consequences.
