2 SongsSeason 2 Premise & Owen Wilson's Return
Following the acclaimed debut of Apple TV+'s golf sports comedy, Stick returns for its highly anticipated second season on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The series stars Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer whose career unraveled twenty years earlier following an infamous on-course meltdown. Having scraped together a second chance in Season 1 by discovering and mentoring teenage golf prodigy Santi Wheeler (Peter Dager), Season 2 elevates the stakes from regional qualifying rounds to the high-pressure gauntlet of the professional tournament circuit.
Joining Wilson and Dager once again are Marc Maron as Pryce's cantankerous friend and equipment manager Mitts, Mariana Treviño as Santi's protective mother Elena, and Lilli Kay as zero-nonsense golf agent Zero. With 10 brand-new episodes, Season 2 explores the psychological weight of overnight athletic stardom, contrasting Pryce's lingering trauma with Santi's raw ambition as corporate sponsorships and ruthless competitors threaten their bond.
Trailer Music: Royal Blood, Noah Kahan & Musical Direction
The official Season 2 trailer commands attention with a dynamic two-part musical narrative. Opening the preview is the raw, heavy garage-rock groove of “Figure It Out” by British rock duo Royal Blood (Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher). Built around Kerr's distorted bass wizardry and thunderous drumming, the track injects high-octane swagger into the driving range montages and explosive golf swings, capturing Pryce and Santi's aggressive push to silence skeptics on the tour.
As the trailer shifts from adrenaline-fueled tournament greens to heartfelt personal reflections, the soundtrack seamlessly transitions into the soaring folk-anthem “Northern Attitude” by Noah Kahan & Hozier. Taken from Kahan's chart-topping Stick Season (Forever) expanded edition, the track's plaintive acoustic strums, soaring harmonized vocals, and lyrical themes of forgiveness and geographic solitude provide an emotional counterpoint to the rock opener. SoundTrack OST will track all licensed needle drops and original episodic score pieces as Season 2 premieres worldwide on Apple TV+.
