Narnia: The Magician's Nephew Soundtrack (2027)

The official original motion picture score by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt is scheduled to premiere alongside the film on Netflix in 2027. This section will be updated with full track information, composer commentary, and streaming links as soon as the score album is officially announced.

The cinematic journey for Netflix's Narnia: The Magician's Nephew marks an ambitious reimagining of C. S. Lewis's fantasy literature under the direction of Oscar-nominated filmmaker Greta Gerwig (Barbie, Little Women). Serving as the foundational origin story within The Chronicles of Narnia, the narrative follows young Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer as magic rings pull them through the tranquil Wood between the Worlds into parallel dimensions, unearthing the ruined, dying empire of Charn, accidentally awakening Queen Jadis (The White Witch), and ultimately witnessing the musical creation of Narnia as Aslan sings the world into existence.

For the film's musical architecture, Gerwig reunites with Academy Award and Grammy-winning musical collaborators Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Having previously collaborated on the global cultural phenomenon of Barbie and crafted anthems across film and pop music, Ronson and Wyatt step into high-fantasy worldbuilding. Their upcoming original score interweaves expansive symphonic orchestrations, choral textures, and intricate leitmotifs designed to contrast the fading gloom of Charn with the vibrant, dawn-lit innocence of early Edwardian London and Narnia's nascent landscapes.

Introducing the visual spectacle in the film's first official teaser trailer is the iconic 1971 rock masterpiece "Stairway to Heaven" by British rock legends Led Zeppelin. The legendary track's transition from pastoral acoustic recorders and fingerpicked guitars into soaring electric rock harmonies mirrors the mythological scale of dimensional crossing, lending an epic classic-rock reverence to the genesis of Narnia.
