Rutshire Chronicles

Adapted from Dame Jilly Cooper's beloved 1988 bestseller, Rivals plunges into the cutthroat, champagne-soaked world of 1986 British independent television. Season 2 reignites the fierce rivalry between ruthless media baron Lord Tony Baddingham (David Tennant) and dashing former Olympian Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell), as franchise battles and scandalous liaisons explode across Rutshire.

The musical palette of Season 2 is a tour de force of decadent 1980s pop, post-punk, and new wave, featuring chart-toppers from Simple Minds, Yaz, David Bowie, Queen, Della Reese, and Billy Idol.
