The series centers on Alba (played by Ava Baya), a young mother desperate for a fresh start after fleeing her troubled past. Alba finds hope in a new job as a flower picker on a prestigious farm in Provence. However, her dreams of tranquility are shattered when the family patriarch, the owner of the farm, is found murdered. Alba, as the mysterious newcomer, quickly becomes the prime suspect.

As the investigation unfolds, a shocking twist emerges: the murdered man was Alba’s biological father, a secret he kept from his powerful family. To complicate matters, Alba is named a major beneficiary in his will, giving the police what appears to be a clear motive for murder. Suddenly, Alba is not only fighting to prove her innocence but also to survive, as her newfound relatives see her as a threat to their fortune and will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.
