Tracklist
Set in a world already familiar with Superman, the movie skips the traditional origin story and dives straight into the heart of the action. Clark Kent, raised in Smallville, Kansas, continues his double life as a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet and as Superman, Earth’s greatest protector. When Superman intervenes in a conflict between the nations of Boravia and Jarhanpur, his actions spark a global debate about his role and the true meaning of heroism.

The real threat emerges when Lex Luthor, a billionaire genius, orchestrates a campaign to turn public opinion against Superman. Luthor manipulates events behind the scenes, including unleashing the mysterious “Hammer of Boravia”, later revealed as Ultraman, a powerful adversary secretly under Luthor’s control. After a devastating defeat, Superman is rescued by his loyal superdog, Krypto, and retreats to the Fortress of Solitude to recover.
As Luthor, Ultraman, and the villainous Engineer infiltrate the Fortress, Superman must confront not only physical threats but also the legacy of his Kryptonian heritage and the expectations of his adoptive Earth family. The movie explores themes of identity, trust, and the enduring hope that Superman represents in a cynical world.
Cast: David Corenswet, who takes on the iconic role of Clark Kent / Superman, Rachel Brosnahan stars as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as the villainous Lex Luthor. The cast also includes Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason / Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, adding depth and variety to the superhero ensemble. The movie also introduces Krypto, Superman’s loyal super-powered dog, inspired by director James Gunn’s own rescue pup.
The Superman (2025) soundtrack is a collaborative masterpiece by John Murphy and David Fleming, both celebrated for their work in film and television. Murphy, known for his dynamic scores in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Suicide Squad, joins forces with Fleming, acclaimed for The Last of Us and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Together, they blend original compositions with a modernized version of John Williams’s legendary “Superman March,” creating a soundscape that honors the character’s legacy while forging new emotional ground.
