The score for Poker Face Soundtrack Season 1 was composed by Nathan Johnson, who crafted a distinctive musical identity that perfectly complements the show’s neo-noir mystery aesthetic. Nathan Johnson, who happens to be series creator Rian Johnson’s cousin, previously collaborated with him on films like “Knives Out” and “Looper.” His music for the series blends jazz-influenced themes with contemporary elements, creating a sound that echoes classic detective shows while remaining fresh and modern. The score enhances the show’s episodic storytelling approach, with subtle musical motifs for Charlie’s character that carry through the diverse settings and cases she encounters during her cross-country journey.
