Love of Your Life Soundtrack (2026)

Directed by Academy Award-nominated cinematographer and filmmaker Rachel Morrison (Mudbound, Black Panther), Prime Video's romantic drama Love of Your Life captures an intimate portrait of love, sudden grief, and personal renewal. Starring Margaret Qualley as Maya alongside Gabriel Basso (Charlie) and Aaron Pierre (Felix), the narrative follows a sharp-witted nurse whose idyllic romance is shattered by unexpected tragedy, prompting a soul-searching journey across Europe where new connections gradually help mend her broken spirit.

The musical architecture of the film is thoughtfully crafted under the guidance of music supervisor Mandy Mamlet. The soundtrack weaves together celebrated indie rock and dream pop favorites—including Sharon Van Etten's anthemic "Seventeen", Beach House's atmospheric "Wildflower", Julian Casablancas' "Left & Right In the Dark", and Cigarettes After Sex's ambient ballad "Apocalypse"—with timeless classics from Fleetwood Mac and Depeche Mode. As Maya relocates abroad, the musical palette broadens organically to incorporate regional Portuguese textures, highlighted by traditional fado from Duarte and folkloric regional recordings.

Providing the emotional spine of the film is an evocative original score composed by Academy Award and BAFTA nominee Dustin O'Halloran (Lion, Transparent). O'Halloran's delicate piano motifs, ambient tape loops, and gentle orchestral swells mirror Maya's internal healing process, accentuating key moments of quiet reflection and gradual emotional acceptance.
