Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as CIA operative Luke Brunner in the much-anticipated second season of FUBAR, now streaming on Netflix. This action-comedy series, which first captivated audiences with its blend of espionage and family dysfunction, ups the ante with new threats, returning favorites, and a soundtrack packed with attitude. Check it all the songs featured in each episode.

Season 2 picks up months after the explosive finale of the first season, with Luke and his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) forced to live in a safe house alongside their family, friends, and a handful of quirky associates. The close quarters set the stage for both comedy and tension, as highly trained agents try to blend in with civilians who have no idea why danger seems to follow them everywhere.

This season introduces Greta, played by Carrie-Anne Moss, a former East German agent and old flame of Luke’s. Greta’s return threatens to spark international chaos and even a potential world war, forcing the Brunners and their team to step up their game. The stakes are higher as the group races to uncover a mole in their midst, all while navigating betrayals, rekindled romances, and a string of misadventures that range from botched birthday parties to high-stakes spy tangos.

While the show continues to deliver action and humor, critics note that the action sequences remain underwhelming, sometimes overshadowed by sitcom-like shenanigans and a crowded ensemble cast. Still, the chemistry between Schwarzenegger and Barbaro, as well as the introduction of new characters like the eccentric villain Theodore Chips (Guy Burnet), keeps the series engaging and unpredictable.
