Queenie Soundtrack. A new British Channel 4 / Hulu series based on Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams. Music from the show bellow.

Queenie Jenkins, a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman straddling two cultures and slotting neatly into neither, is the protagonist of a razor-sharp, utterly honest, blisteringly funny, and achingly yet beautifully relatable series that delves into the unrelenting trials and tribulations of a young Black woman’s life.

After a messy breakup from her long-term boyfriend Tom, Queenie, a South London stalwart, journalist, loyal friend, not-so-loyal daughter and granddaughter, a sometimes catastrophist, and an occasional mess but more often than not an undervalued success, seeks comfort in all the wrong places and begins to realize she has to face the past head-on before she can rebuild.

Stars: Dionne Brown as Queenie Jenkins, Harrison Daniels as Roy (Faceless Man), Samuel Adewunmi as Frank, Bellah as Kyazike, Sally Phillips as Gina, Jon Pointing as Tom, Tilly Keeper as Darcy, Llewella Gideon as Grandma Veronica, Michelle Greenidge as Aunty Maggie, Elisha Applebaum as Cassandra, Cristale De’Abreu as Diana, Mim Shaikh as Adi, Joseph Marcell as Grandad Wilfred, Joseph Ollman, Melissa Johns, Laura Whitmore, Santana Holness as Young Maggie

Genres: Drama
Release Date: June 4, 2024
