The series centers on Luke Ellis, a 12-year-old genius with telekinetic abilities who is abducted and wakes up at a mysterious facility known as The Institute. Here, he finds other children with extraordinary powers, telepathy, telekinesis, and precognition, each taken from their homes and subjected to harrowing experiments by the enigmatic Ms. Sigsby and her staff. The children are told their abilities are being used for a greater good, but as the story unfolds, it’s clear something far more sinister is at play.

Luke forms a close bond with fellow captives and together, they hatch a daring plan to escape the Institute’s clutches. Meanwhile, in a nearby town, ex-police officer Tim Jamieson is seeking a fresh start, but his fate soon becomes entwined with Luke’s, setting the stage for a suspenseful collision of storylines.
Cast: Ben Barnes stars as Tim Jamieson, an ex-police officer whose path crosses with the mysterious events surrounding the Institute. Mary-Louise Parker plays the enigmatic and chilling Ms. Sigsby, the woman in charge of the facility. Joe Freeman portrays Luke Ellis, the gifted young boy with telekinetic powers at the heart of the story.
Supporting roles include Simone Miller as Kalisha, Jason Diaz as Tony, Fionn Laird as Nick, Hannah Galway as Wendy, and Julian Richings as Stackhouse.
