Set in the fictional supermarket “Pellocks” in County Durham, Transaction follows Liv, a transgender woman hired by bumbling boss Simon (Nick Frost) after his misguided marketing campaign lands him in hot water with the LGBTQ+ community. Simon’s desperate attempt to prove his inclusivity by hiring Liv backfires hilariously, as Liv quickly discovers she’s essentially unsackable. With her newfound job security, Liv transforms the supermarket nightshift into her personal playground, unleashing chaos and challenging every workplace norm in sight.
